AP7, Stockholm, is searching for managers to run 230 billion Swedish kronor ($27.9 billion) in passive global equities.
The pension fund, which has about $30 billion of assets expects to appoint three managers for an initial three years. There is an option to extend the contracts by two years each.
The current managers are State Street Global Advisors, Northern Trust Asset Management and Svenska Handelsbanken, said a spokeswoman for the pension fund.
As of Jan. 30, the pension fund had 244 billion Swedish kronor invested in equities, and 17.5 billion Swedish kronor allocated to fixed-income investments.
