Ken Harvie joined Unigestion as head of consultant relations within the firm’s institutional clients team, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new. Mr. Harvie, who is based in London and reports to Tom Leavitt, managing director and head of institutional clients, is responsible for strengthening relationships with consultants across the globe.
Mr. Harvie was previously client and consultant relations director at Ignis Asset Management, which was acquired by Standard Life Investments in March. A spokeswoman for the firm declined to comment.
Unigestion has £10.7 billion ($16.1 billion) in assets under management.
