Brockton (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for a private equity manager to run about $3 million to $6 million in a closed-end venture capital fund, said an announcement on the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission’s website.
SEI Investments, investment consultant to the $356 million pension fund, is assisting with the search.
Only proposals from experienced managers of venture capital funds will be considered. Fund of funds, co-investment funds and secondary funds will not be considered.
