Jack Yang was named head of the Americas at Alcentra, a BNY Mellon investment boutique that specializes in subinvestment-grade corporate credit.
It is a new position. Mr. Yang is responsible for the firm's business operations in the Americas, as well as product development, marketing, fundraising and investor relations globally. He reports to David Forbes-Nixon, chairman and CEO of Alcentra.
Mr. Yang was previously global head of business development at Alcentra; he will continue in those responsibilities.
Alcentra had $24 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
