Phoenix City Employees’ Retirement System will begin a search for an investment consultant in the first half of February, said Greg Fitchet, investment manager for the $2.2 billion pension fund.
The pension fund will issue an RFP because one has not been issued since current investment consultant RVK was originally hired in 2005; the firm is invited to rebid. RVK’s current contract will expire June 30.
The RFP will be posted on the pension fund’s website. Mr. Fitchet said he hopes a decision will be made in May or June at the latest.
