San Francisco City & County Employees’ Retirement System approved committing up to $50 million to a $5 billion buyout fund managed by American Securities.
The decision to make the commitment to American Securities Partners VII was made during a closed session at the $19.9 billion pension fund’s December board meeting, said a disclosure issued at the board’s Jan. 15 meeting.
