Thierry Lagrange was appointed interim CEO at the European Organization for Nuclear Research Pension Fund, Geneva, said a spokeswoman for the scientific research company.
Mr. Lagrange replaced Theodore Economou, who left last month, said the spokeswoman.
The 4 billion Swiss franc ($4.6 billion) pension fund is searching for a new CEO. The spokeswoman said Mr. Lagrange will be interim CEO until Dec. 31, 2016, at the latest.
Mr. Economou was appointed chief investment officer of Lombard Odier Investment Managers' multiasset business, said a spokeswoman for the money manager. The position is new, and Mr. Economou will start Feb. 1. Mr. Economou will lead the $5.2 billion multiasset unit from Geneva, and will build on a LOIM risk-based approach for sovereign wealth funds and pension funds. He will report to Jan Straatman, chief investment officer of LOIM.
