Texas Pension Review Board, Austin, is searching for an executive director, said John Perryman, director of human resources and accounting.
Anumeha, director of policy and finance, was appointed interim executive director following the departure of Christopher D. Hanson earlier this month.
Mr. Hanson became the executive director of the $2.1 billion Austin (Texas) City Employees' Retirement System on Monday.
The selected candidate will “oversee the day-to-day management” of the agency, which provides oversight, research, education, analysis and assistance to public pension funds in Texas, according to a job posting on the Texas Workforce Commission's website.
The job posting will be available on the commission's website through March. The job posting is also available on the National Association of State Retirement Administrators' website.
No date has been set for a decision.
