Scott Kearney was named senior vice president, head of institutional sales at Delaware Investments, said company spokesman Amy Ponticello.
Mr. Kearney replaced Aiden Redmond, who left the firm to become managing director and head of U.S. institutional sales at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in June.
Mr. Kearney will manage Delaware's institutional sales team and also be part of the overall distribution management team. He is based in Philadelphia and reports to J. Scott Coleman, executive vice president, head of distribution and marketing.
Mr. Kearney was senior vice president and head of institutional sales at F-Squared Investments. An F-Squared spokesman said in an e-mail that the firm intends to assign Mr. Kearney’s responsibilities among current staff members.
Delaware Investments had more than $180 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
