Broward County School Board, Sunrise, Fla., is searching for a firm to provide retirement plan administration and investment management services for its 401(a) FICA Alternative and Special Pay Plan, said Charles V. High, purchasing agent.
The search is being conducted because of the June 30 contract expiration of incumbent administrator BENCOR, which is invited to rebid. The plan had approximately $89.9 million in assets as of June 30, 2013, the RFP said.
The RFP is available on procurement website Onvia DemandStar. Registration is required.
The deadline for proposals is 2 p.m. EST on Feb. 6. A hiring decision is anticipated by March 13.
Lannie Santiago, a personnel administrator for the school board’s benefits department, could not be reached for additional information by press time.
