Alaska Department of Administration, Division of Retirement and Benefits, Juneau, rehired Great-West Retirement Services, now known as Empower Retirement, as record keeper for its four defined contribution plans, said Kathy Lea, director of the retirement division.
An RFP was issued in October because of Great-West’s July 1, 2015, contract expiration.
The plans — three 401(a) plans and a 457 plan — have about $4.3 billion in assets combined.
All four plans’ lineups have 17 identical investment options, in addition to a series of target-date funds.
