Bailey Childers was named executive director of the National Public Pension Coalition, spokesman Juan Gastelum said.
Ms. Childers replaced Jordan Marks. Mr. Gastelum could not immediately provide information on Mr. Marks’ plans. Mr. Marks could not be reached by press time.
Ms. Childers will “lead national and state efforts to protect the retirement security of public employees and advance retirement security for working Americans,” said a news release from the NPPC, an advocacy group.
Ms. Childers joins the NPPC from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities where she supported states’ investments in education, health care and other services. Anthony Martinez, a spokesman for Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, could not immediately provide information on a replacement.
