Seung-Hye “Andy” Jung joined Morningstar Korea in Seoul as director of manager research.
She replaces Richard Anh, who left Morningstar in late September to join Korea Exchange Bank as a portfolio manager, said a Morningstar spokeswoman.
Ms. Jung was an asset manager in the retirement department at Woori Bank in Seoul, conducting “manager selection, performance monitoring, portfolio construction and retirement pension product development,” a Morningstar news release said.
A Woori Bank spokesman couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
Ms. Jung will lead a team of four manager research analysts covering the Korean market.
