Massachusetts Water Resource Authority Employees’ Retirement System, Chelsea, is searching for a custodian.
State Street Bank is the current custodian, said Sheryl C. Trezise, executive director of the $441 million pension fund. The search is being conducted because of organizational changes being made at State Street. The bank is invited to rebid.
Eligible candidates must have a global platform and work with at least 10 public pension plans.
Investment consultant NEPC is assisting.
The RFP is available on NEPC’s website.
Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EST Jan. 23. Ms. Trezise said a selection should be made sometime in the spring.
