Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Columbus, voted to renew the contracts of minority-owned and/or women-owned managers of managers Attucks Asset Management and Leading Edge Investment Advisors for two years, spokeswoman Melissa Vince said.
The bureau originally hired the two firms in September 2011 to oversee $100 million each in various active domestic equity strategies for the $24 billion State Insurance Fund, and the two initial contracts were due to expire on Jan. 31.
The two-year contract renewal runs through Jan. 31, 2017.
As of Sept. 30, Leading Edge oversaw $141 million managed by nine firms, and Attucks oversaw $137 million managed by eight firms.
