University of Arkansas System, Fayetteville, hired CAPTRUST Financial Advisors as the first investment consultant for its $3.7 billion 403(b) retirement plan, pending successful contract negotiations, an announcement on the university’s purchasing website said.
An RFP was issued in November.
The other finalists were Cammack Retirement Group and Sibson Consulting.
Ann Kemp, the system’s vice president of administration, and Linda K. Fast, manager of procurement services for the university, could not be reached for additional information by press time.
