John Philipchuck was named assistant vice president in the research group at real estate money management firm Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, a new position, said Christopher Merrill, co-founder, president and CEO at Harrison Street, in an e-mail.
Mr. Philipchuck was executive vice president and had led real estate research and strategy for the Americas region at Singapore's GIC. He left GIC in October. GIC Spokeswoman Mah Lay Choon could not be reached by press time for information on whether Mr. Philipchuck has been replaced.
