San Antonio Fire & Police Pension Fund is searching for an emerging manager to run an international equity strategy, recently released board minutes showed.
The $2.6 billion pension fund does not issue RFPs. Investment consultant NEPC will assist.

Separately, the pension fund terminated three equity emerging managers — Monarch Partners Asset Management, High Pointe Capital Management and Palisades Investment Partners, the board minutes indicated.
The size of the allocations and the reason for the manager terminations could not be learned by press time.
Funding from Monarch Partners and High Pointe Capital will be transferred to equity manager Cooke & Bieler. It could not be learned by press time whether Cooke & Bieler is a new or existing manager. Funding from Palisades Investment Partners will be transferred to an index fund. Further information was not available.
