St. Louis Public School Retirement System’s investment committee recommended hiring NCM Capital Management to run a $10 million active domestic core fixed-income portfolio, recently released meeting minutes said.
The $912 million pension fund’s board will vote on the recommendation at its Dec. 15 meeting.
Funding would come from reducing the active domestic core fixed-income portfolio managed by EARNEST Partners, leaving it with about $11 million. Investment consultant NEPC is assisting.
Andrew Clark, executive director, did not return a phone call by press time.
