Len Oremland was named senior vice president, consultant relations, at OppenheimerFunds, said company spokeswoman Kaitlyn Downing.
The position is new. Mr. Oremland will be part of OppenheimerFunds' institutional consultant relations team. He will report to Steve Paddon, senior vice president and head of institutional.
Mr. Oremland was a principal at Ares Management. Ares spokesman Bill Mendel could not be reached by press time for information on if he will be replaced.
