Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, Washington, issued an RFP for a firm to provide record keeping and administrative services for its 457(b) and 401(a) plans.
The 457(b) plan has $154.8 million and the 401(a) plan has $1.9 million, according to the RFP.
The contract is for three years, with the possibility of two one-year extensions. Incumbent ICMA-RC, whose contract expires March 31, is invited to rebid, spokesman Robert Yingling said.
“The authority is seeking a provider with a full 'open architecture' platform with access to almost any NSCC-traded fund and no proprietary fund requirements,” the RFP said.
Bids are due Jan. 16 at 1 p.m. EST. The potential timeline calls for finalists to be selected by Feb. 20 and the award announced May 1.
The RFP is available on the authority's website.
