ITT Educational Services Inc., Carmel, Ind., hired Transamerica Retirement Solutions as record keeper of its 401(k) plan, said Nicole Elam, vice president, government affairs.
Transamerica replaces J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services, which now operates as Empower Retirement. Ms. Elam had no further information regarding the change.
A blackout period for participants begins at 1 p.m. EST Dec. 24 and ends the week of Jan. 31.
As of Dec. 31, 2013, the company’s plan, known as The ESI 401(k) Plan, had $182 million in assets, according to the company’s Form 5500 filing.
