Summerside (Prince Edward Island) Employees Pension Plan is searching for an investment manager to run the assets of the C$23 million (US$20 million) defined benefit fund.
Jarislowsky Fraser is the pension fund's current investment manager; its contract will expire Dec. 31, said Rob Philpott, the city's finance director and chief financial officer. The firm can rebid.
The RFP is on the city's website. Proposals are due Jan. 7. A selection date has not been set, Mr. Philpott said.
Plenus Consultants, the pension fund's actuary, is assisting.
