Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Mich., is searching for a consultant for its three 403(b) plans and 457(b) plan, said an RFP on the university’s purchasing website.
The university does not currently have a retirement plan consultant.
The selected firm will review investment options, existing plan features and services; help form an investment committee and develop an investment policy; ensure the plans comply with federal and state laws; and provide education to plan participants, among other services, according to the RFP.
The plans have approximately $330.5 million in assets combined.
The RFP is available on the university’s purchasing website. Proposals are due by 3 p.m. EST on Dec. 9. Finalist presentations are tentatively scheduled for Dec. 11-18. A hiring decision is expected by Jan. 9.
