Boe Pahari was promoted to global head of infrastructure equity at AMP Capital, said a spokeswoman.
It is a new position. The role will increase AMP Capital's focus on investment opportunities in the Northern Hemisphere. Mr. Pahari is currently head of infrastructure-Europe and the Americas. His new role will also see him assume responsibility for the Australian and India infrastructure equity teams, and join the AMP Capital leadership team.
Australia-based Scott Davies, global head of infrastructure, will leave the firm by the end of the year. His position will no longer exist. Further details were not available by press time.
The spokeswoman said Dylan Foo was recently appointed head of Americas, infrastructure equity, and takes on responsibilities left vacant by Mr. Pahari's promotion. Mr. Foo's previous could not be learned by press time.
“We are investing in the areas where we see the greatest opportunities to support our growth,” said Stephen Dunne, CEO at AMP Capital, in a news release. “The changes we're making will ensure AMP Capital is aligned internally as well as to external market forces in order to deliver for our clients as we continue to expand and internationalize the business.”
Also, Andrew Jones, global head of infrastructure debt, was appointed to the AMP Capital leadership team, reflecting the growth of the infrastructure debt business.
The changes will be effective Dec. 1, the spokeswoman said.
