Chris Faulkner-MacDonagh and Alex Wolf joined Standard Life Investments’ multiasset global strategy team, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Faulkner-MacDonagh was hired as market strategist and Mr. Wolf, emerging markets economist. Both roles are new, the spokeswoman said.
Mr. Faulkner-MacDonagh analyses primary drivers across all major asset classes, and was a senior economist at family office Ziff Brothers Investments.
Mr. Wolf analyses emerging markets and helps expand the firm’s understanding of the global business cycle. He was a diplomat in Beijing for the U.S. State Department, according to an SLI news release.
