Cincinnati Retirement System will search for an investment consultant either late this year or early in 2015, said Christopher M. Meyer, chairman of the pension fund’s board of trustees, in an e-mail response to questions.
The $2.3 billion pension fund will issue an RFP because the contract of current investment consultant Marquette Associates is to expire Dec. 31, 2015. Marquette will be invited to rebid. A timeline has not been set to issue the RFP.
Separately, the pension fund hired Loomis Sayles to run $130 million in active domestic fixed income, replacing Pacific Investment Management Co., which was terminated because of personnel changes. Marquette assisted.
