London Borough of Newham Pension Fund, London, is searching for a consultant to restructure and advise on its £87 million ($136.1 million) real estate allocation.
The consultant will review the existing portfolio for the £840 million pension fund, and look to increase or reduce exposure to real estate based on the pension plan’s requirements, said an announcement posted on European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily.
It could not be learned by press time if there is an incumbent and whether the firm can rebid.
The chosen firm will also advise on the operational aspects of managing the allocation; support executives with searches where required; and monitor and report on the allocation.
Further information is available on TED.
Proposals are due Jan. 9. Further details were not available by press time.
Jane Radford, pension fund manager, and Stephen Wild, corporate finance manager, could not be reached for comment by press time.
