Houston Firefighters’ Relief & Retirement Fund hired EFL Associates to assist in its search for a chief investment officer, said Todd E. Clark, board chairman, in an e-mail.
Linda P. Calnan, senior investment officer, was appointed interim chief investment officer of the $3.8 billion pension fund in September. She replaced Christopher Gonzales, who took a position with a corporate retirement plan. Mr. Gonzales declined to name the company at the time. Efforts to reach Mr. Gonzales were not successful.
Mr. Clark referred additional questions on the search to EFL Associates. Daniel Cummings, vice president at EFL Associates, said the position will be filled as soon as the right candidate is found. There is no deadline for applications.
