Craig Anzlovar was named fixed-income client portfolio manager at Pioneer Investments, spokeswoman Megan Ingersoll said.
Ms. Ingersoll did not have information on whom he replaced.
Mr. Anzlovar will contribute to marketing the firm’s fixed-income strategies to current and potential clients. He doesn’t have any investment management duties. Mr. Anzlovar will work closely with Meredith Birdsall, a senior client portfolio manager, and will report to William Porter, senior vice president and head of U.S. institutional.
Mr. Anzlovar was a fixed-income institutional portfolio manager at Fidelity Investments and a member of the firm’s liability-driven investing strategy team. Fidelity spokeswoman Sophie Launay confirmed Mr. Anzlovar’s departure and said the company is evaluating what to do.
Pioneer Investments managed about $148 billion in fixed-income assets globally as of Sept. 30.
