Richard Hodges and Ben Bugg joined Nomura Asset Management U.K. to expand the manager’s fixed-income team, a spokesman said.
Mr. Hodges is head of unconstrained fixed income, and Mr. Bugg is a portfolio manager, unconstrained fixed income, the spokesman said. Both positions are new.
Messrs. Hodges and Bugg are responsible for a new Global Dynamic Bond Fund, investing across a range of fixed-income securities.
Both were previously at Legal & General Investment Management. Mr. Hodges was head of high alpha fixed income, and Mr. Bugg was an assistant fund manager on the high alpha fixed-income team. A spokesman for LGIM said the firm added resources to the team and reorganized. While there are no direct replacements, he said, LGIM is building up its resources in fixed income.
