Scott Hood was named CEO of the $3 billion San Mateo County Employees’ Retirement Association, Redwood City, Calif., said a news release from the pension fund.
Mr. Hood, who was the pension fund’s assistant executive officer, replaces David Bailey, who will retire in early 2015, the news release said. Mr. Hood’s appointment is effective immediately.
