Hollywood (Fla.) Employees' Retirement Fund is conducting an invitation-only search for an international small-cap equity manager to run $15 million, said Lisa Castronovo, pension coordinator.
The $300 million pension fund is conducting the search to provide further diversification in international equities. Wellington Management runs $45 million in active international equities. Wellington is the pension fund's only international equity manager.
Funding will come from a Northern Trust S&P 500 index fund. Ms. Castronovo said finalist presentations would likely not occur until after Jan. 1.
Investment consultant Segal Rogerscasey is assisting.
