North Carolina Department of State Treasurer, Raleigh, is searching for a custodian for the state’s 457 and 401(k) plans, which have combined assets of $8.6 billion.
Only banks with more than $4 trillion in assets under custody will be considered, said the RFP, which is posted on the department’s website.
Proposals are due at 3:30 p.m. EST on Dec. 16. A decision is expected in March.
Schorr Johnson, spokesman, did not return a phone call by press time.
