Philip E. Lung joined Mellon Capital Management in Hong Kong as division head for the Asia-Pacific region, a spokesman for the company said Wednesday.
The position is new. Mr. Lung will work with investment teams in Mellon Capital’s San Francisco headquarters “to develop customized investment strategies for the Asia-Pacific market spanning a range of asset classes,” a news release said.
Mr. Lung will report to Jeff Zhang, the firm’s executive vice president and chief investment officer, and Jane Caire, chief administrative officer and head of strategy for BNY Mellon Investment Management Asia-Pacific.
Mr. Lung was previously managing a private multiasset investment portfolio in Hong Kong, according to the news release. The spokesman couldn’t provide further details.
