Peter Elston joined Seneca Investment Managers as global investment strategist, a Seneca spokesman said.
It is a new position.
Mr. Elston was head of Asia-Pacific strategy and asset allocations at Aberdeen Asset Management, said an Aberdeen spokesman. Mr. Elston also held responsibility for the multiasset business in the region. The Aberdeen spokesman said Mr. Elston was replaced by John Livingstone, senior investment manager. The spokesman did not comment further by press time.
