Plymouth (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for an active domestic large-cap growth equity manager to run about $7.5 million, said Maura K. Goulart, senior research analyst at Fiduciary Investment Advisors, consultant to the pension fund.
Separate accounts and commingled funds will be considered.
The search is being conducted due to a state requirement that services go out to bid every five years.
Existing large-cap growth equity manager Westfield Capital Management is invited to rebid. Westfield currently manages about $7.5 million in the strategy.
The $144 million pension fund’s overall allocation to domestic equity is about 33%.
The RFP is available on Fiduciary Investment Advisors’ website. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EST on Dec. 1. A hiring decision is expected sometime in the first quarter.
