Kathryn Kaminski was named director, investment strategies, at money manager Campbell & Co., spokeswoman Meg Bode said in an e-mail.
It is a new position. Ms. Kaminski will join the firm on Jan. 2. The quantitative money manager, which specializes in absolute-return and market-neutral strategies, has $4 billion in assets under management.
Ms. Kaminski is currently the Stockholm-based deputy managing director of the Institute for Financial Research, an affiliate of the Stockholm School of Economics.
