Aberystwyth University, Aberystwyth, Wales, is searching for a defined contribution provider to design and implement a new DC plan.
The DC plan, which is scheduled to launch April 2015, will replace its defined benefit fund, the Aberystwyth University Pension and Assurance Scheme. The decision to launch a new plan followed a review and consultation, according to a notice posted on European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily. The contract is expected to run for 10 years.
“All active members of the AUPAS will transfer to the new defined contribution ‘DC’ arrangement with effect from the go-live date,” the announcement said.
Proposals are due Dec. 12. A hiring date was not provided.
An executive in the university’s procurement team referred questions to the TED notice.
