Leesburg, Fla., is searching for an investment consultant for its 401(a) and 457 plans, said Terry Pollard, senior buyer.
The city is seeking a consultant to assist the city in maintaining the plans’ investment policies as well as eventually assisting the city in searching for a record keeper. ICMA-RC is the plans’ current record keeper.
Mr. Pollard did not know whether this is the first time the city is seeking investment consulting services, but he said it has not done so in the past seven years.
The plans have combined assets of about $11 million.
The RFP is available on the Public Purchase’s procurement service website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EST on Dec. 4. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
