Belmont (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for a manager to run about $9.5 million in an S&P 500 index fund, said an RFP on the website of NEPC, investment consultant to the $82.5 million pension fund.
Proposals will be accepted for commingled funds or trusts.
The reason for the search, along with the funding source, could not be learned by press time.
The RFP is available on NEPC’s website. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EST on Nov. 17. A hiring date was not disclosed.
