Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association, Pasadena, Calif., hired Heidrick & Struggles to search for a principal investment officer, equities, said David Kushner, chief investment officer of the $47 billion pension fund, in an e-mail.
The new executive would replace June Kim, who left in June to join the $186.4 billion California State Teachers’ Retirement System, West Sacramento, as the director of global equity.
