Weymouth (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for active domestic large-cap equity managers to run a total of up to $26 million, said Maura K. Goulart, senior research analyst at Fiduciary Investment Advisors, the $172 million pension fund’s investment consultant.
The pension fund is conducting the search for a growth manager and value manager to run up to $13 million each, due to the state’s requirement that services be put up for bid every five years.
Current growth manager Westfield Capital Management and value manager Boston Co. Asset Management are invited to rebid, Ms. Goulart said.
The growth and value RFPs are available on FIA’s website. Proposals for both RFPs are due by 4 p.m. EST on Dec. 1. The pension fund hopes to make decisions in the first quarter of 2015, Ms. Goulart said.
Jo-Ann Anti, director of the pension fund, did not return a phone call by press time.
