Anthony Roth was named chief investment officer of Wilmington Trust, said company spokesman Chris Wloszczyna.
Mr. Roth will provide strategic direction for the firm's asset management investment activities, including asset allocation, manager research and portfolio construction and will report to Christopher Randall, division head for asset management.
He replaced Rex Macy, who was named Wilmington Trust's chief allocation officer.
Mr. Roth was CIO of Aquitaine Management; further information could not be learned by press time.
Wilmington Trust had $80 billion in assets as of Sept. 30.
