New Mexico Educational Retirement Board, Santa Fe, is searching for a firm to perform an internal audit, said Jan Goodwin, executive director.
The $11.3 billion pension fund is looking for a consultant to evaluate the effectiveness of the pension fund’s risk management, internal control and governance processes.
“NMERB recognizes the value of internal control to the agency, and so has issued an RFP to contract for internal audit services,” said Dianne Rossbach, chief financial officer, in an e-mail.
The RFP is available on the pension fund’s website. Proposals are due Nov. 19, with a selection expected Dec. 22.
