Alaska Department of Administration, Division of Retirement and Benefits, Juneau, is searching for a record keeper for its four defined contribution plans, said Kathy Lea, director of the retirement division.
The plans — three 401(a) plans and a 457 plan — have approximately $4.3 billion in assets combined.
Incumbent Great-West Retirement Services is invited to rebid. The search is being conducted because Great-West's contract expires July 1, 2015.
All four plan lineups have 17 identical investment options, in addition to a series of target-date funds.
The RFP is available on the department's website.
Proposals are due at 4:30 p.m. Alaska time Nov. 20. A hiring decision is expected in January.
