Daniel Melley will join London-based hedge fund Winton Capital Management, said a spokesman for the firm.
Mr. Melley will join the $25.5 billion hedge fund next year, he said. The spokesman said the position is new, but declined to comment further.
Mr. Melley will join from consultant Mercer, where he was a partner and U.K. head of fiduciary management. A Mercer spokesman said his replacement “will be announced in due course.”
