Daniel Melley resigned from Mercer as partner and U.K. head of fiduciary management, said a spokesman for the consultant.
Mr. Melley, who joined Mercer in 1997 in New York and later relocated to London, is to leave the firm, he said.
"We can confirm that Dan Melley is leaving Mercer," said the spokesman in an email. "His replacement will be announced in due course."
Mr. Melley helped establish the consultant's fiduciary management business in the U.K.
Several sources in the money management industry said Mr. Melley has a new role at a money management firm. Further details could not be learned by press time. Mr. Melley could not be reached for comment by press time.
