Veronique Leroy was named head of infrastructure investment services at Aviva Investors, spokesman Steve Ainger said in an e-mail.
The position is new.
Ms. Leroy had been an investment and portfolio manager at Octopus Investments. A spokeswoman at Octopus could not provide information on a replacement.
Ms. Leroy will report to David Dahan, Aviva's managing director of secure income alternatives.
Also, Jolanta Touzard was named assistant fund manager to Aviva's infrastructure team, Mr. Ainger said. It is a new position.
Ms. Touzard had been a senior manager on the commercial teamat Equitix, said Ross Cooper, associate director and Ms. Touzard's replacement.
At Aviva, she will report to Ian Berry, head of infrastructure.
Aviva's infrastructure group oversees more than £1.9 billion ($3 billion) in assets.
