Washington County Public Schools, Hagerstown, Md., is searching for record keepers for its $22 million 403(b) plan and $4 million 457 plan.
The schools have issued an RFP because it wants multiple record keepers for each plan, a change from the RFP it had previously issued in May.
Both plans have a single record keeper. The 403(b) plan’s record keeper is Great-West Retirement Services and the 457 plan’s, MetLife. Whether the firms can rebid could not be learned by press time.
Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EDT on Nov. 11. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for Dec. 1-3, with a selection expected on Dec. 16.
The RFP is available on the public schools’ website.
Regina Keller, supervisor of employee benefits, did not return phone calls by press time.
